    No Pudding !

Pudding is later, their is a choice between mince pies and custard or homemade cheesecake. Knowing HC he will have both.
Something unexpected happened which made me smile and still continues to make me smile.

I can't get that link to work. Is it just a case of keep trying? TIA

Absolutely. It was working early this morning, then it stopped and there was something on their facebook page about the number of "codes" available having been used up, then it was working again.
Might be worth keeping an eye on the thread re this, which has now been moved to the referrers board.

Oh, and you have to access the site through the link I posted, it doesn't show otherwise. HTH.
    Hope is not a strategy.

  • :santa2:Hello everyone and MERRY CHRISTMAS!

I hope everyone's having a fantastic day whatever you're up to.

I didn't manage to get online yesterday, had a very chaotic and crazy day yesterday. My chocolate truffles were a disaster and I spent hours trying to get them to set and then had to give up and start a new batch....should have just bought them a box of Hotel Chocolat :p Didn't turn out very MSE in the end but hopefully they'll appreciate them :D Atleast I know they taste nice, I didn't get a chance to eat anything except chocolate truffle mixture! :rotfl:

I forgot bacon for the pigs in blankets so I had to pop out so tied it in with whoopsie time except I was a bit too late for bulk buying, although my freezer is pretty full anyway. Had some good luck in Morrisons, because I'm so little I happened to bend down and spotted a gorgeous joint of topside beef pushed to the back (someone being sneaky!!) No flies on me ;) £15 down to £10 and asked the guy reducing stuff and it went down to £3 :T I knew I had a huge joint of beef in the freezer already but at this point I was just determined to get it because there was a dad and daughter hogging the whole reduced cabinet and waiting for 19p to be put on everything:mad: I was looking for someone I knew or someone that looked like they'd appreciate a bargain when my Mum's friend who's very strapped for cash walked around the corner. She'd just managed to get a turkey half price so I bought her the beef :D Otherwise I spent £3 on bacon and 3 carrier bags of whoopsies like bread rolls, bananas, finest clementines, whoopie pies, pasta salads, coleslaw, rolo doughnuts, new potatoes etc etc....most down to 5p or 9p :T T's was rubbish, absolutely zilch there and likewise for Mr A's.

I'd like to take the time again to say a huge thank you to all that contribute on here and have helped me save a great deal of money this year and given me a few laughs along the way. Cheers to you all and may you all have a wonderful day!
