All this for £40. Stuff was being reduced to 70% and it was flying off the shelves. Sis got a Tesco turkey reduced from £19 to £5.

izzeyb there were no 1/2 price stickers on the 2 I got but were on some of the others, mine were priced £5.59 on label ( all identical packaging and description) but the SEL said £2.49 per kg. CS looked at the sell by date of mine and ones with 1/2 price sticker on and said mine were old stock therefore not in the deal! It didn't matter what I said she was having non of it nor was the deputy manager. I was too late home to phone HO so will try tomorrow.

Tks so much for your post, I went to the Co-op first thing after reading your post and got a 6.4kg turkey for £10, less the £2.00 coupon. The staff didnt even know they were reduced because I asked her to price check it, there were 3 staff there and they were all surprised.

    Tks again, happy christmas. izzey

The big chess tournament was taking place at the Plaza in New York. After the first day's competition, many of the winners were sitting around in the foyer of the hotel talking about their matches and bragging about their wonderful play. After a few drinks they started getting louder and louder until finally, the desk clerk couldn't take any more and kicked them out.

The next morning the Manager called the clerk into his office and told him there had been many complaints about his being so rude to the hotel guests....instead of kicking them out, he should have just asked them to be less noisy.
The clerk responded, "I'm sorry, but if there's one thing I can't stand, it's chess nuts boasting in an open foyer."

    groan!!!

Just been to my local, it was dead as a dodo, staff said it was like that all day! Whoopsies were carp even though there were loads of stuff with bb today, no one seemed to care!

Saying that i did get some loverly salmon reduced to £1.50 from £4, 8 packs, and got £4 off mulitbuy too x 2 so £1 for the lot!

Hope everyone has a great evening and day tomorrow x

    Hmm ok, can anyone help?

Just opened up the DVD player and you need an HDMI cable for it :think:, can anyone point me in the right direction pretty please, googled it but a whole lot of cables come up and I don't really know what I'm looking for!
Check on Amazon, you can usually get one for £1 delivered. All Hdmi cables work the same so no need to get one that costs more.

    Hth

Now a question please.....How is the Cono Sur best served, room temp or slightly chilled? (as in being stored in the garage)

Always room temp...Raven offered some good tips about decanting wine and so on, on the last thread
