Well I am having a lovely day
First my team win and the team from the other side of the city lose:j:j
Went on a whoopsie hunt, there was a few bis and bobs but nothing that I was really after, so didn't get anything.
Took a drive to the other T's that I don't usually go to and what did I find?
A DVD PLAYER AT LAST!!! :j:j:j
The Technika upscaling one for £13:D:D
Was £26.97 in the Extra this morning :eek::eek:
Ah, it's been a good day
Merry Christmas everyone!...those who mind don't matter, and those who matter don't mind.
PRIDE
There's a fork in the road, which way will you go
You standing still or will you step into the great unknown,
Is yours to decide, this is your life.

Must tell you about the Jamie Oliver mash I've made for tomorrow....it is divine!!
Picked the card up in Sainsbury's last night and thought I'd try it with Xmas dinner
It's a mixture of potatoes, swede and 5 garlic cloves which are boiled together then mashed with lots of butter. It's gorgeous and so easy!
I've prepared most of my veg for tomorrow. Made a big cauliflower cheese, cabbage leek and bacon, parboiled my parsnips and have got them in my 8p pyrex dish with honey and mustard glaze, and got a big joint of whoopsied rib of beef already in the slow cooker. So apart from the poultry (Have a four bird joint as well as a turkey breast joint) it's really only the roasties, stuffing, carrots, sprouts and yorkshire puds to do in the morning.
Making the trifle a bit later with my 10p strawberries and the whoopsied salmon and prawn starters in the morning.
Never been so organised!!
This has definitely been the cheapest Christmas dinner I've ever made......and there's enough to feed a small army
No room left in the freezer so won't bother to go whoopsie-ing. Decided to watch The 39 steps instead!!
Now a question please.....How is the Cono Sur best served, room temp or slightly chilled? (as in being stored in the garage)My husband says he will leave me if I don't stop shopping......... God I will miss that man.0 -
