Travelled the world I 'ave ......... Newcastle, Peterborough, Wisbech, London, Edinburgh, ................ both St Ives' ;)

Sometimes we don't appreciate what's on our own doorstep, too busy jetting here there and everywhere. I love the lake district.:)

We used to always travel down to rent a cottage in Cornwall when we lived in North East, but the first year after we moved to Peterborough, Mr 3Dogs suggested a holiday in Scotland or the Lakes

Woo Hoo QPR - you got out there and got a clipstrip, despite your problems. Just ignore HC, you have until midnight tomorrow night to post your pic ;);)

I may need an extension on the extension, clipstrip downstairs, me marooned upstairs, knee the size of a small country, lying in bed wrestling with the slowest netbook in the world, no idea where camera is either, photo is planned in my head. :D Killing time till 11pm medicine then land of nod

And on that note, I'm off to do the ironing. Any suggestions for what I can do tomorrow? Ex has the kids all day (hence my Boxing Day sales annoyance) and I've already done the hoovering so I don't know what to do to fill in the day. Not used to being without the kids :(

Caz if you really can't find something to do tomorrow, I have a pile of ironing here needs attention, reckon it would fill a good part of your day for you :p. Wouldn't even mind delivering it, could drop it off and go shopping in the city and pick it up on my way home :rotfl:
Seriously though as someone else said, have a day relaxing and pampering yourself, strange not having the wee ones around but a chance for you to breathe before the madness of Sunday xx

  • I've been reduced to putting Tango in my Vodka this evening coz I've not been to do the shopping yet! It's not the most pleasent drink I've experienced!

  • Can I ask if anyone has had a red card through the door from Royal Mail lately? Can you tell me if it says on how long they keep the item for?

As I was going to St. Ives I met a man with seven wives,
Each wife had seven sacks, each sack had seven cats,
Each cat had seven kits: kits, cats, sacks and wives,
How many were going to St. Ives?

    Hi all,

Just popping on to wish everyone a Very merry Christmas,

I'm off to whistler for a 10 day skiing trip with my beautiful wife in the early hours so won't be able to catch up till the New Year!

PS for those that didn't guess the swan story was a leg pull to liven up a quiet morning on here, hope I didn't offend anyone!;)

    All the best,

    BigChris x

You can't just swan off like that!!:rotfl:

    Have a good one!:T
