iPhone 4 and GiffGaff
Looked at an iPhone 4 deal with Orange = £36/month.
Total cost = £864
If I do it through Giff Gaff;
iPhone 4s (16GB) Direct from Apple, £499
(0% APR over 10 months if ordered before midnight 6th Jan).
£80 of which would be covered by the sale of my current phone.
Plus, £10/month (no minimum term contract, but for comparison sake, 24 months)
Total Cost = £739
Saving = £129. (excl. £80 from sale of current phone).
Nice savings. Surprised this can be done to be honest and Apple's 0% for 10 months coincides quite well with my plans, wish it extended a further month, that would've been perfect.

True but in my case GifGaff have taken 2 weeks to still not respond to an email.
You can;t call them jsut use the community or email someone .The lowest cost is not always the best value, I used Tesco Mobile, £2.50 more but has people I can talk to if I have issues.0 -
I can see the pitfalls to it being such a new company - but the community genuinely seems pretty knowledgeable and helpful and in most cases a lot of the fixes are similar to 02s so you can use their forums for guidance, unless you physically need the network to step in and change something which shouldn't be too often.
I'm happy with the idea, I'm saving as of January.0 -
There are good sim-only alternatives to giffgaff.
T-mobile 300+300+500/Unltd for 12x£10.21 (was 12x£7.50 last week) with cashback.
Chitter-chatter 350+300+500/Unltd for £10 or 600+500+500/Unltd for 12x£10
Talkmobile...0 -
I've been with gifgaff for a few months now with no problems. Very pleased so far. Number ported without a problem and the savings speak for themselves.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature.
