If you won't be making calls those tenners add up quickly. It may not be such a good deal, you may be better with GiffGaff and the goody bags

At giffgaff you can get unlimited texts for £5 (that you can spend on minutes) or for £10 with 250 minutes.
At chitter-chatter unlimited texts and 100 minutes cost £6 - 1 month rolling contract.

If you only want to text on PAYG, one of the cheapest options is Orange Dolphin PAYG, topping up £30 every 7 months (£4.28 per month).

Unlimited texts are a top up reward with a £30 top up. Then you can buy a £5 unlimited text extra using your credit balance for the next 6 months once the top up reward has expired.

Alternatively, if you are prepared to put the effort in, you can get unlimited texts for £4 per month. You can get unlimited free texts with a £10 monthly topup on T-mobile PAYG text plan - and then use GetPoundsBack to cash in £10 credit and turn it into £6 cash, making the unlimited texts cost £4 a month.
