Sold a river island purse for £6 delivered and buyer not happy

I sold my river island purse used only 5 times cost me £25 new to a buyer for £6 inc delivery !!!!

There was a photo in post and now buyer states she is not happy as she wanted to give it as a gift.

She has said she will give me neg feedback if i dont sort it !!!

How on earth can i offer any kind of refund having only charged £6 when the postage cost me £2.50 so in effect she got the purse for £3.50.

I would rather have kept the darn purse and given it to charity shop. ;)

Please can someone help me and advise what would you do.

Thanks

Can you explain clearly (perhaps without emoticons) exactly what she says was wrong with the purse?

If that is exactly what the email says, keep it to complain to ebay for feedback extortion.

Offer her, quite politely, very sorry shes not happy and you will obviously refund in full once the item has been returned to you in its sold condition.

If she opens a SNAD, she'll be told to return for a refund.
Best to offer it yourself, when she returns it.

Unless you say what site it is nobody will be able to give you any accurate advice as they don't know what procedures etc the site has in place for this sort of thing.

If the buyer raises a paypal claim it doesn't matter which site it was bought from

The price is immaterial- if you didn't want to sell it for £6 then you should have listed it for more and taken a chance of it selling. Regardless of whether the item went for £6 or £60 buyers have the same rights, also if it went for £6 then that was all it was worth.

    How did buyer pay?
