i got mine from here, www.nabru.co.uk .
very reasonable prices, and good quality. it comes flat packed on a pallet. very easy to put together.0 -
Mrs Bogtrotter arrived home one day with one of the sofabeds from Ikea. The bed has a metal frame and 3 mattress types and half a dozen covers to choose from. The price starts around £200 depending on the mattress and cover.
Metal frame comes in a flat box and is straight forward to assemble though if you have your own sockets and rachets and Allen keys will make your life easier than if you use the poor quality tools supplied in the box.
When assembled it folds into a armless,1.4m wide, reasonably comfortable 2 seater sofa. In bed mode it is comfortable if a little firm wide enough to sleep 2 adults.0 -

I bought mine from Funky Futons, bought the Brisbane metal frame and it has stood up well to a fair amount of use. Very helpful when I phoned them giving advice and arranging delivery.

I've bought from them, there's a huge choice of fabrics (they will send samples), they're made in the UK, you can choose the delivery date and the quality is good.

We also used Nabru and can thoroughly recommend them, however, please be aware that they are COMPLETELY flatpack. No tools were needed to assemble as it makes up into a wooden carcass which you put the cover on to (there must be a few screws in the metal sofabed option though). I don't recommend assembly with a hangover - we were excited about the delivery! - but they do offer an assembly service in certain areas.
The sofas are very cheap because you do all the work, but they are solidly built and will last well, and because they are delivered in such small pieces you can fit them literally anywhere!0 -
Proper sofa and an Aerobed? I've never met a sofabed yet which I was happy with as a sofa.0
