  • At the bottom of your feedback profile page is a link to reply to feedback received.

Best to reply after you've got over the feedback and to leave a calm, factual response. Your reply will say more about you as a seller than the buyer's neg.

well the buyer unfortunately couldn't sell the dress on in her online shop and facebook page and wanted a refund, just wondered what type of feedback i should leave.

    thanks

  • Unfortunately you can only leave the buyer a positive with a positive comment (otherwise it can be removed and you get a policy violation) so I wouldn't leave any at all.

"requested within 28days to return item correspondance ignored and no outcomes"
OP did you ever offer a refund on return or respond to the buyer?
My reply to fb left would depend on the answer to the above.
Don't leave any Fb as you can only leave positive.

yes i did respond to the buyer, asked the buyer why i took her so long to get back to to say it was not suitable, took her a while to respond back, the reason she gave is that she is rarely on ebay, which i thought was not true,as going by her feedback she was buying at least 1 item everyday.i have had now had time to think about it,probably won't reply to the feedback, and why should i refund the buyer just because they couldn't sell it on for a profit.
  • If you suspect that your buyer specially buys to resell (rather than just reselling your item because she didn't want it) give CS a call and tell you suspect malicious buying and ask them to review the feedback and the buyers account.

If the buyer just genuinely didn't want the item and tried to resell just yours, eBay will say the feedback is their opinion (rights or wrong aside).
