Hi all, despite being a complete bargain hunter and money pincher (!) I have never been to a single car boot sale in Northern Ireland and have lived here for nearly 14 years!!! Can anyone tell me 1. Where is a good bootie in Belfast centre/Greater Belfast and 2. As I sell via an eby shop part time, can I sell my wares at a car bootie too or does it have to be old used stuff at a bootie? Thanks all!! Oh, and if anyone knows a good bootie this coming weekend that would be super!Feel free to thank me, it makes my toes tingle and my ears go warm :T0

You have Crumlin Rd (Old Dunnes car park) on Sat and Sun mornings. Also one at Windsor Park on Sunday mornings.
I prefer the one at Windsor, you get a bit more room, (crumlin rd you are in the car park space and no more) doesnt go on as long, im normally home for 1pm, crumlin rd its 2pm. You will find mostly the same buyers at both, they will go to one then the other. There are a few stalls that sell all new stuff though im not sure if the same £ applies, sure it would though.

i passed a sign in bangor at a church beside abbey street for a car boot sale on Saturdays, does anyone know if it is any good or if there are other saes in/close bangor
also would like to find boot sales in carrick and larne as i have paintings of the town that i think might sell well
how much would be the most expensive item at a boot sale, would it be as high as £10
whats average as know at boot sales every1 looks things for pennies.?0 -
Hi Simon,
The boot sale at the Abbey in Bangor on Sat mornings is excellent. Provided the weather is good, it attracts plenty of buyers and everyone I know who has done one there has made good money.
The one in Ards on a Sunday morning is also good.0
