I was at a market in Bangor last Saturday, full of bric a brac stuff in Skipperstone Community Centre. Picked up a few PS2 games and avon goodies. I believe another sale is being held on Sunday 20th July at 1pm.Well I Love Tv And I Love T. Rex, I Can See Through Your Skirt I've Got X-Ray Spex0 -
Yes its at the Jim Baker Bowling Stadium in Parkgate. I went last Fri and tbh it was the quietest ever I have been to. Talking to a few other sellers its like that all the time now. I wouldn't waste your time going imo! It did used to be very good a few years back.
Im going to start going to Dunsilly on wed nights and Whitehouse church on Thurs nights....will these be on next week does anyone know?Norn Iron club member - 2650 -

I've one the Greysteel one near Derry- quite good but bit of a trek for me now - coming from Omagh - spec with diesel prices. Buyers were mad for clothes/shoes etc
There is usually a small one at Arvalee Riding School near Omagh last Sunday of every month. Not many cars but I made most money at that one for less time - sellers 12.30 buyers 1pm. If it's raining they have it indoors which is handy. I cleared over £100 in less than 2 hours -packed up at 2.30pm !!!!0 -
I had a wee space at Nutts Corner to sell car boot stuff last Sunday for the first time, they charged £30 and i did not even break even, it does not get the crowd it use to and i spoke to other traders who said people are just not spending much money up there as usual.
The market is organised by Guys who fly over from manchester every weekend, the first time they charge you a double week, then £15 thereafter, i told them i was not coming back and they said they could not refund the money but i can go up once again within the next 3 weeks for free, even though i told them it was not worth my while.
How much is it for bootsales elsewhere? is it really as cheap as a fiver or are there any catches or double weeks to be paid?0 -
All the car boots i have been too are only £5 for a car and normally £10 for a van/trailer.
Why dont you try the one at Crumlin rd or Dunsilly?Norn Iron club member - 2650 -
