Staying in a Britannia hotel is never going to be a good deal. Lol Even if the offer was stay 5 nights and get £99.0

I had my wedding reception at the International Hotel in Canary Wharf and it was fantastic.... couldn't have been better. The people couldn't have been nicer and the venue was fab.
I guess it's all down to the individual experience!:)0 -

Spot on, there is a very good reason why it's so cheap ... Eugh!0 -

From some other posts, it would seem that this is the only decent hotel that they have.
I've had the displeasure of staying in their hotel in Manchester city centre - and can honestly say, it was the most unpleasureable experience I've ever had in a hotel. NEVER EVER AGAIN!0 -

I'll second that. Wouldn't stay in a Britannia hotel if it were free!0 -
Thanks for the comments, was contemplating a Twixmas break but you all talked me out of it lol0

I have used the central Birmingham hotel New street, about 3/4 times and always found it very good. I accept it does not have swinmming pools and tennis courts, but for a city centre stopover, at an affordable price, perfect.0
