WE have had a slow draining and sometimes blocked kitchen sink for a month or so. We have tried all standard drain blockage solutions including one shot, caustic soda, snakes (not real ones) and not all at the same time. We noe wonder whether it could be the pressure caused by a blocked vent - any thoughts or advice?

It might be worth taking the waste pipes off and cleaning them, i take all mine off once a year and its amazing how much gunk is in the pipes
I have tried cleaners before and they are useless0 -
Have a look in the outside drain to see if it's blocked there.
Sometimes there can be a build up of solid cooking fat or if the drain is slightly uncovered it could be leaves/soil.£2 Coins Savings Club 2012 is £4.............................NCFC member No: 00005.........
