    amersall, i do apologise, chapess's and chap's
thanks for all your offers of help,
I will defiantly asking for more help soon,
    Just after Christmas prob,

    Looking around on this forum,
have found others in a similar position,
    https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/comment/49603997#Comment_49603997

I seem to get lucky on this forum, earlier this year i asked for a recommendation for a dishwasher,
Old one was a Hotpoint, which we'd paid a few hundred for, then paid £60+ per year on a maint contract, had our moneys worth out of it, but you get fed up calling them out five times a year,
I realised over the first five years, we where paying more this way, than getting one with a five year guarantee !

So i asked about a SMEG dishwasher i'd seen,
    everyone said,
No, you don't want on of them, you want one of these...
Everyone said get a Bosch, several saying don't bother getting a five year guarantee, we've had ours longer, and its never blinked,
    so we got one,
The help i got with the dishwasher is similar to the help offered here with my PPI,
Thanks again everyone, and i hope you all have a Merry Christmas :xmassign:

You dont send it to the lender or the insurer. You send it to the mortgage broker. They are the ones that carry the liability for the advice they gave.

    Hi Everyone,
Hope you all had a great Christmas, just got around to getting back up to speed on claiming,
Am preparing to write to the broker who sold it me,
Have found the completion statement which mentions the policy and premium which tallys with the policy in formation i have,

Just wondering which is the best form of template letter to use,
there is a template PPI Reclaiming Questionnaire on this site -
    http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/reclaim/ppi-loan-insurance#step2

Or, I've found what seems a good template letter at the good old Daily Mail's This is Money site,
    http://www.thisismoney.co.uk/money/cardsloans/article-1606455/Reclaim-PPI-premiums--payment-protection-insurance.html#StartComments

    Which seems well laid out,
Which one should i use ?
    Any help would be great.

    Whichever you feel comfortable with.

Thinking same, letter nearly complete, will include questionnaire as well, it's an officially agreed form with FSA, that should cover things.

Thanks Amersall, 'fraid i may need quite a bit more luck,

Posted everything Wednesday last, the 11th, first class recorded delivery, got a reply today on Mortgage Advice Services headed paper, saying Mortgage Advice Services Ltd of Derby has been put into liquidation, giving name and address of liquidator, and referring me to the FSCS.

I got a reply to my complaint alot quicker than expected, and to me this smells a bit, MAS website is still up and operating as i type this.

    More stuff to type....

Ring FSCS and they will help you if they can.
