Broadband and Phone options

I am currently with TalkTalk LLU for phone and broadband. About a year ago I was getting a lot of disconnections and spent some time discussing it with TT and they did some tinkering with the db profile to get a steady connection. See http://www.talktalkmembers.com/forums/showthread.php?t=32268 for details. It has been reasonably steady since but I still get the occasional disconnection. As I think I am now out of contract what are my options for broadband and phone? I would like to keep costs to a minimum but I wonder if another provider would be able to give me a more consistent connection without losing speed? I know TT don't have the best reputation.

According to samknows my options are:
<LI class="status green">BT Wholesale ADSL<LI class="status green">BT Wholesale ADSL Max<LI class="status green">BT Wholesale WBC (21CN)<LI class="status green">AOL LLU<LI class="status green">O2 / Be LLU<LI class="status green">TalkTalk (CPW) LLU<LI class="status green">Sky Broadband / Easynet LLU<LI class="status green">Tiscali LLU<LI class="status green">Tiscali TV (via Tiscali LLU)
I understand BE and Plusnet are pretty good but I seem to remember reading in the past that as I am on TT LLU I can only migrate to BT from here - is that right? If so I see that BT currently have an Autumn offer of BB and Phone for £13pm (+line rental) and 4 months free. Are they likely to have a better offer in Jan or should I go for this now?
Thanks
