fast service from Amazon this week

I ordered a book and CD from Amazon last week. I wasn't expecting to get them until wed/thurs for the first and Fri/sat for the 2nd but one arrived on Monday and the 2nd one came today.

same here, had an independent seller sending from germany and a book from a book company through amazon, both arrived within a couple of days

Agreed, I ordered several things from Amazon and they all arrived well within their time frames - shame Play couldn't do the same... still waiting for a couple of bits.

Everything ordered from Amazon and sent by HDNL has gone missing or been late.

Well, I ordered 2 DVDs on Monday 12th December as separate purchases. One dispatched from the UK arrived last Thursday. I'm still waiting for the one that was dispatched from their Channel Islands warehouse. If it doesn't come tomorrow it looks like I will have to visit a conventional shop to buy a back up then return the Amazon one when it eventually arrives. :mad:

I ordered 3 items on Saturday (17th) afternoon. All 3 were delivered free of charge on Monday 19th. Phenomenal service.

Unintentional

Amazon always delivers stuff quickly and if anything goes wrong they're quick to fix it. I always order with confidence.

Yeah they seem to be alot faster around Christmas.

Amazon have been excellent with deliveries. Have ordered quite a few bits with free delivery and all came within a couple of days.

I'm not altogether happy sending so much custom to one outlet, but equally I'm not going to shop elsewhere if the price is higher and the service less reliable.
