I have a BlackBerry 8525 mobile, in working order, and is not in any contract now. Can I put a the 'card' from another phone in it, and will that make it operative? If not what's the answer? Am reluctant to sell it, but..... Thanks:(

It all depends on weather the phone is locked to a network ie: O2, Orange, T-Mobile, Vodafone you can put another Sim in it as long as its to the network its locked to

If the phone is unlocked then you can put any Sim in it apart form 3.
