When will Iphone 4/4s get cheaper?

I have sim-only package at the moment and I am using my 2007 Sony Ericcson W880i. I'm with O2 at the mo. They say I'm eligible for early upgrade next September ...

I'm just wondering ... at the moment the cheapest line rental I can see for an Iphone 4 is 21.50/mth (100 mins 500 texts) ... do you reckon by then line rental may go down to £15/month (which is where I am at at the moment) ...

Apple are not known for allowing discounting of their 'stuff'.

I guess by the time the iPhone 6(s) gets here the 4 might be somewhere near there (maybe!)...

Tmobile just hit £15 a month on the 24 month tarriff on a 3GS - it was in the press at the weekend - I doubt the 4 will be in that range in the next 12 months...

The iPhone 4 and 4S will become cheaper when the iPhone 5 is released. Nobody knows when that will be, although guesses range from March to November 2012. My personal guess is June/July 2012. Until then, the iPhone 4S will remain at £500.
