ALDI - like Tesco, Asda, Sainsbury's and Morrisons

Only better!

I've just had an email telling me that Aldi had a 72% customer score in the Which? annual survey, beating the big 4 and M&S.

I'm kicking myself for only having discovered this for myself earlier this year. Supermarket snobbery = money wasting.

Totally agree. Waitrose then Aldi then Lidl! I was pleased to tell all my 'ooooh I wouldn't shop in Lidl' friends. How people who shop in Tescos can call themselves snobs I don't know?! (not all tesco shoppers before I get burnt at the stake! My friends!!)
Since starting again after beanie: June 2016: Child development DVDs, Massive Attack tickets. July: Aberystwyth trip, hotmilk nightie. Aug: £10 Hipp Organic vouchers, powerpack. September: Sunglasses. October: £30 poundland vouchers.

To all these Aldi/Lidl converts I ask this question. Do you enjoy waiting ages in the queue to process your shopping because the times I've been they've only been 1 person on at the checkouts. In terms of customer satisfaction I'd give a huge cross in that box.

The amount of times ive been to aldi ive not waited more than 5 minutes in the queue. Well it seems the 1 person isnt opening up another till which is whats meant to happen when the queue gets to a certain length.

No-one enjoys waiting - esp when you only have a few items and everyone else seems to have huge trolleys full - but the queues move fast and the moneysaving for fresh produce that is better than other supermarkets makes perfect sense.

I'd give a huge tick. At ours the queue management is very slick, as soon as a queue starts to build they ring the bell and another till opens. In addition they put items through the tills very fast, I'm not sure what more you could ask for.

Compare that to a typical experience in Tesco, Sainsburys or Asda, where I sometimes wonder how the cashier can be so slow and still be in the job.

The only problem you get is with the inconsiderate people that like to pack their bags at the till and not at the area provided.
I used to be indecisive but now I am not sure.

My family love these and we did a taste test side by side with heinz and there was little difference. We also prefer the aldi beans and sausages as they are proper little sausages rather than those hotdog type ones. Those value tesco ones are yuck though lol.
I suppose its all personal taste anyway :)

The one thing I love about aldi above all the savings, specials and unusual products is how quick the till is. Even on quiet days our local morrisons takes a lot longer and tesco you might as well pull up a chair!
