The batteries that I find perfect for the Wii are the Sanyo Eneloop because unlike most other types of rechargebale batteries, these keep their charge! Personally I would say forget buying a charging dock, just get these batteries with a charger.
Amazon are the cheapest.
Hope this helps someone this christmas!
P.S. i don't work for Sanyo, but I do recommend these batteries.
P.P.S it seems someone has just beat me to this!!! So there are two people with good sense
could i buy the eneloope batterys and charge them in my duracel charger or would i need the eneloope charger?0 -
Assuming the duracells are NiMh yes. A duracell charger might be a bit rubbish though.
I've ordered many a time from Play and not one problem as yet.0 -
Play do a top end charger for £10. Free with batteries chargers are very much 'starter kit'.0

Yeah, that's it, but they're pretty crap. If you don't use your Wii all the time (as in, if you turn it off) then the charger stops charging. I got one for about the same price, but now I just use Eneloop rechargables. You get what you pay for, I'm afraid

i used the usb port on my computer as i use that regularly however, i have found the contact points aren't that great and they don't seem to hold charge that long, some people seem to have good luck with them but i've been through 3 different brands, same type as these and not had much luck with any to be honest0 -
be wary of play.com - theres a thread about their poor customer service on the praise/vents board. And the facebook page tells some awful stories. And yes, as a family we've had major troubles after ordering from them.. Not the company they once were unfortunately."I AM DEATH, NOT TAXES. I TURN UP ONLY ONCE."- Terry Pratchett0

Just adding that we ordered three things, you can see on page one I said so, and one arrived on Thursday and the other two arrived this morning. We're very pleased with their delivery, though I have heard others say it's a bit slow."There is no substitute for time."
Competition wins:
2013. Three bottles of oxygen! And a family ticket to intech science centre. 2011. The Lake District Cheese Co Cow and bunny pop up play tent, cheese voucher, beach ball and cuddly toy cow and bunny and a £20 ToysRus voucher!0 -
Play used to be great and were my first choice for DVDs CDs and games but I don't use them at all after a few poor experiences. Its a real shame as I loved them before, but it's pretty much Amazon all the way for me now.
I ordered some books from Amazon on Monday (19th Dec) and they arrived on Thursday. Wasn't expecting such fast service this time of year but I was really happy when they arrived.
Having said that, I ordered a SCD card for my camera from Play.com a few months ago and it arrived very quickly but their service is poor compared to Amazon's, who I usually buy from whenever I can.0
