Don't even get me started on their seriously awful customer service!!! I had a bloody awful experience after a surround sound system I bought from them as a present last Christmas didn't work properly. I said then I would never buy from Play.com again, and I haven't.

Play used to be great and were my first choice for DVDs CDs and games but I don't use them at all after a few poor experiences. Its a real shame as I loved them before, but it's pretty much Amazon all the way for me now.

Ditto though I always check find-book, find-game or find-cd before I buy just in case

judging by the comments on play.com's facebook wall seems they are messing up with a lot of orders i ordered 2 of the same items on the 2nd got one delivered last week and still waiting on the other no email as to why its late or why it was despatched on the 15th

not sure i can be bothered with the hassle of chasing items up

I also used to use play all the time but have gone off using them due to long delivery times and laos not finding the prices as good as they used to be.

It's ever since they were taken over by the Rakuten group that I feel they have fallen by the wayside. Such a shame.

I just feel like I should defend play.com as I have bought absolutely loads from them in the last 2 months and everything has been delivered within a week, I'm sorry for the people who have had problems but I am a very happy customer :-)
