Next VIP sale - survey of useage

Had a slot every sale now for the last 3-4 years (usually one of the first to be able to book and pretty much always got the first VIP slot).

Spend probably £100 normally outside of the sale, £800 or so each summer and christmas sale, much less in the mid-season sales - maybe £50-£100.

I get the catalogues, pay a fair chunk each month but usually have a small balance on my account and return less than 1/3 of what I order.

This time I've only just been able to book a slot now and have ended up with 7am on Friday morning so better than nothing but expecting most of the good stuff to have gone. Nevermind, I know I've had it good for a long long time so I'm not complaining. Glad to still have a slot.

GOT a SLOT

Customer for 8 years, not bought anything full price in 6.5 years as my OH works for them so we buy instore to get use of his discount. I have had slots for the last 3 sales now. Only ever buy around £150 per year in sale stuff.

No slot. Customer for 2 or 3 years spent hundreds on orders.
Howeer, I have never ordered a catalogue and unsure of the ratio to orders kept and orders sent back.
Disappointed a bit...but hey plenty of fish!!

I was surprised that I got a slot. Only ordered from them once before, and that was over a year ago mid-December last year. Never had a Next Directory either, as I refuse to pay for one.

I've been a customer for about 10 years. I always get invited to the VIP sale. I probably spend about £200 each in the summer and xmas sales, £50 in the mid seasons. I buy very few non sale items. £4000 credit and always pay balance in full. Probably 50% gets returned.

I got a slot. I've had an account for years, always seem to have a balance which I clear about once a year. I used to get slots when they rang you up for a VIP order, in fact I only missed out once that was a couple of years ago.

GOT A SLOT and have had a slot for every vip sale in the past few years. Limited spend, few hundred quid a year, probably 40% returns.

Get VIP every year (spend £300 or so p.a., returning half of it), however was unable to get an early slot this year, and most of the stuff was OOS when I did get in. So nothing this time.

Been a customer for over 15 years. 2nd time i've been offered a vip slot.
Didn't always pay off balance totally every month but since being offered slot i have and i've also signed up for a catalogue. Hardly never return items that i have ordered.

Slot for last night - everything, except 1 item in stock! Been a customer ever since the Directory came out (many years ago). Don't buy much at full price through the year, but get a VIP slot 80% of the time. It helps having 2 accounts I find! One in my name, one in hubby's - if I miss out on a VIP slot he usually gets one!
