The same thing happened to me a few years ago - the hobs still worked, but the oven was cream crackered. I had a friend cook my turkey on xmas eve.The opposite of what you know...is also true0

I want a nice fan-assisted electric cooker with easy-clean halogen hob, but the previous owners of the house tiled over the electric cooker point, and we have no idea where to find it.
wave a metal detector or cable/stud finder over the wall and you might find itA kind word lasts a minute, a skelped erse is sair for a day.0 -
Sorry for your plight especially at this time of year. I hardly ever use my oven now since I bought a Ramoska also known as a czech cooker, Lakeland sell them, although I bought mine from QVC. Everything you cook in your main oven you can cook in them and they do joints/a whole chicken fantastic (standard size) and only use 400 watts for the standard size, and about 650 watts for the grand size. Obviously it won't be big enough for a turkey. Casseroles/curries/baking I can't praise them enough and I got my mum one who always finds fault with things and she loves it and uses it most days. They are handy to have alongside your oven.0

Well, still no parts this morning. I've just checked with Indesit, apparently they use yodel for courier services, so it could be Feb before I get them, in my experience.I try not to get too stressed out on the forum. I won't argue, i'll just leave a thread if you don't like what I say.

Pleased it's all sorted. Hope you have a lovely Christmas xx
I was hanging on last year as my new oven only came with one shelf and the shelves from the old oven didn't fit. Ordered another one and it arrived on Christmas Eve - phew! Here I go again on my own....0 -
