M&S Sale *update* further reductions now

When I was in M&S on New Years Eve the assistants were busily tidying the sale racks and overheard one say "so that they would be ready for the next reductions!"

No, I don't think so. As soon as the sale started the reduced prices came up with two prices giving the appearance now that they have been further reduced.

I think the 2 prices there refer to the original selling prices. some sizes (ages) were £6 , some were £7. now in the sale they are all £4. dont think it shows the items as having been reduced twice.

Yes that's what I mean too. Its just been confusing some posters into believing the items have started to be reduced when nothing has. Yet...

Will the reduced prices come up automatically at the till in store tomorrow or do we have to wait for the staff to put the stickers on? Also I remember last time no per una was reduced further until a later date. Is this still the case?

I asked in my local (as im staff but not this branch they usually divulge) and the reply was we've all been asked to come in early monday to relabel with the next stage reductions. Im there first thing lol. Then await managers reductions probably 10 days later , usually a wed/thur the following week

The reductions on some items are still pretty poor. My dad is looking for a fleece gilet and it's still selling for more than half price, even though it has been reduced twice (they have stock of over 10 in every size too).
