IIRC you can be fined for parking in front of a dropped curve, even the one to your own drive.
    Not true.
    Dropped footway exemptions include:
A vehicle parked outside a residential premises by or with the consent of the occupier of the premises (but not in the case of a shared driveway)

So this was a property residents, carers and services, and there was only room for one car and that was in the drive ...............

    Give over.

Are you for real ? are you really for real ?? you know nothing about nothing and presume lots. I was going to explain in detail but thought better of it. But in short YES space for one car on the drive i was working at and the car on the drive belongs to the service user & carers who live in the bungalow but thanks again for your knowledge of parking issues .
  • Thanks again for all your imput i was over (by 2 foot) according to the police looking at photos so i must have been no argument. I am sure any car could have drove in and out without issue I checked as i parked . I was also in and out getting and returning tools from my van very often . I think the homeowner just needed to vent a little steam, his/her family probably dont like them either .

Rather than block the drive and expect the occupier to come and find you, you could have knocked on their door and asked if they would mind you parking in such a way, explaining that you had been called out to do a job in a neighbouring property. That would have been far better.
agreed in principal thanks . Too late to go now will keep you informed of the outcome.

Nah, don't bother, considering the language you used earlier and how unpleasant you come across in your posts here.
  • Thanks for subscribing kath. Will keep you updated too x

You would get a parking ticket if your were 2ft over on yellow lines...You were in the wrong parking across their drive...So my friend...you are the KN0B....

Think you need to go see your GP about your blood pressure, its obvious sky high
  • Im a kn0b but not your friend & B.P is fine (about a million over 80) (my shrink takes it daily)I think what p1ssed me off is the neighbour came out took photos and reported me to the rozzers without asking me to back up 2 foot although the only car they have was on the front road in front of their house as it always is. TBH they used to have a small astra van parked on their drive but i havent seen that for a few months and have never seen the corsa parked up there ( no excuse for the 2 foot infringement but would they like me knocking at 9am on a sunday morning either) >
