Problem with Ebay - any advice??

Hi there - I would really love some help and advice with this situation please.
Long story short - I just checked out my basket on Ebay. It had lots of items from multiple sellers, and totalled £68. Ebay told me I had to check it out in two installments because there are so many items.
So, I check out the basket, and it charges me £63 and sends me back to check out the rest.
But instead of checking out the remaining £5, it takes out £63 again.
I then had to go back to check out the remaining £5.
I called customer service and tried to explain that the £63 was taken out twice in error - but they did not understand and refuse to reimburse me.
Instead, they tell me I have to take it up with Paypal.
What can I do??
Thanks for your help. Sorry for the long spiel...

go into Paypal and cancel the duplicate transactions which should return your money.
Although you may need to message the sellers as well as you've put the order through twice rather than just paying twice.0 -
Hi
If you have any further problems, post here to let me know and I'll move your posts across to our dedicated Ebay board which will be able to help you.

i did think that might be the case hence the second bit (which was an edit). I was basing it on the possibility that it had only just happened and they may be able to go into Paypal and reverse it.0
