Hi everyone, sorry for not updating you. There's not a lot thats happening I'm just back from OHs and once again spent more money than I planned. Ok I met him on the Saturday (Bus £7) and we went for lunch which he paid for. Then we went to a restaurant which his parents paid for and went for drinks afterwards my round cost £7.
Then today went for lunch which cost me £14 so looking it at that it wasnt that an expensive weekend. Next weekend will need to be cheaper too we are both skint and OH has his car to tax, insure (which I will go on cos its cheaper) and MOT.
So my mission this week is to empty my cupboards I have baking potatoes and stir fry to use up hopefully my food budget will be below £10.0 -
Forgot to say that I cashed in my 5p's into my ISA on Saturday so that takes me up to £1721 :j0

My first freebie of the year was a book I was just clearing out my email folder and I found an unused £5 Amazon voucher so I got a Used book thats on my Dayzero list :j0

Hi everyone, well the spending has gone AWOL and my OH has cancelled our night together he has to look after his parents cats after his brothers girlfriend had a baby boy this morning, so his parents have done downt o see his brother.
So I have lodged a ticket with Quidco as my cashback didnt track  this is the first one is goodness knows how many years I've been with Quidco but £109 is a lot of money for me.
I was working out some sums and at the end of April I should have £3000 just £1100 short but then I remembered I may get my deposit back (I've never had any problems with deposits before) which will take me £3400 so just £700 to find. Off to do my Ebay box....0 -
Well today I feel a bit low and stuck in a rut and I figured I needed to view the situation in a better light. I am ready mentally to move to Edinburgh like yesterday and have felt I have lost myself a bit.
So tonight I put the black nail polish on and took off the old nail polish on my toes which was red back to being myself again. Moneywise my spending has gone through the roof. It isnt as controlled as it was last week, all my fault I know.
So I am trying to center and focus myself a bit more. I read my tarot cards and will have a meditation later this evening. I am also planning a face mask  just to scare the neighbours :rotfl:
Hopefully this will do the trick!0 -
Hi all, sorry for not posting on here for a while. There's not a lot to post moneywise. I am skint and I dont get paid till Mon
I have two parties this weekend too so I have two bottles of acholoic stuff in the cupbaord that I'll drink and I'll need to buy a mixer swo moneywise I'm ok. I just need to pay for a taxi back home for one of them. I have that too. Why is peopel put on parties before you've been paid, it always happens anyway I have made progress with the cupboard still dont know what to with Mung Beans tho other than grow Beansprouts with them :rotfl:
The CC is down to £1655 so I can pay that off when I get the interest from my ISA, I am tempted to do it now but I want to wait.
No date on the move yet but OH is Ebaying which is a start :T0 -
Hi everyone, sorry for not posting in a while. I have had to do a bit of soul searching and I need some goals to work towards so I have decided to aim for 5 NSD's which is huge.
I have saved my usual £300 and aim to make £50 this month.
Also OH and I had a chat and I know he has a CC and I have known about this sometime but by the looks of it we wont be moving until next year at this rate he has Ebayed a few things but he has just paid £500 on his car and he still has to get insurance and tax
So its not going to happen for a while as mentally and physically I am ready to move but OH isnt financially so it'll be me trying to help him out in anyway I can!
I have no idea how but I am sure I can think of something  Does anyone have any ideas? I know he doesnt want me to help out money wise but help him keep costs down and raise money.0
