Yikes ok looking at that it makes sense to use up the stuff that is expiring first and work my way through the lentils and tins, I feel quite ashamed I have been wasting money on food when I have it in my cupboard.

I dread to think whats in the freezer, thatll be the next thing

Well I am back from my OHs and I am full of the cold thanks to my work colleagues

We had an extended weekend together I went there Friday night (that bus only cost me £1.50 :D courtesy of Megabus) and we went for dinner (£18) and then went back to his to watch Thor which was excellent.

Saturday was an easy day we went into town briefly and I got some cold and flu stuff from Boots (£7) and then back to his to watch TV then we realised we were out of tissues so he went out and got them and brought me a big bar of chocolate :D

Then today he drove me home and we had a day looking around the shops and to thank him I brought him lunch (£8.49) Yikes Ive spent a lot

Hopefully next week he'll have the cooker fitted so we can cook every night rather than go out to dinner! So hopefully next weekend will be a cheaper one. The good news is the bus was cheap!

Ok Im off sick day today. Just couldn't get out of bed and was awake from 4am :( So I am trying to rest but keep busy. I have used up my cup a soup and a hot chocolate sachet. I won't replace them as I have a Green & Blacks tub and I don't normally like cup a soup!

I've done my clicks too. I was wondering if any has a suggestion of how I can use my Golden Syrup? I have never used it or opened it. I didnt even buy :rotfl: I have many things in my cupboard I've never used before too!

I hope to catch up on Iplayer love Mrs Brown's boys hilarious :rotfl: and will find out others I can catch up on if not I have a DVD to watch! Starting bored already ;)

  • Hey GRC, sorry I haven't been about much but I'm now all up to date with your diary! With the stuff in your cupboard, I suggest making a Tuscan Bean Stew- totally delicious and you can put in just about anything you want- and it's really filling :)
    Credit card- [STRIKE]£487 [/STRIKE] £96.78 Overdraft-[STRIKE] £1000[/STRIKE] ALL GONE!

Thats a brilliant idea thank you :A
  • Hi all well I went and collected my Iphone much to my surprise as I thought it was someone elses package :D

So I have spent most of my evening figuring out how it works! And I love it.
  • Hi everyone not much to report apart from the fact that I am still loving my Iphone :D and also I spent £7 on this evenings dinner, surely I can make it cheaper?

We had ready made meals for a start so I just got them for convience and they weren't good at all! All of our shops don't sell good Vegetarian curries its suck

So I will need to cook something old style next week and I am so scared of going to see my bank balance too

Anyway I am thinking of changing my bank account next month I need more of an incentive to not use my overdraft and the Halifax rewards account charges a £ a day on overdrafts  Defo an incentive!
