Three mobile stopped iphone contract downgrades
H all- having signed up to Three in October 2010 on a 24 month contract, I rang them tonight with a view to downgrading my contract as I am staying in France until April- only to be told this was no longer an option- they have pulled it. Worth bearing in mind if you are considering signing up for an iphone based on being able to reduce your contract after nine months.
Also been on the phone to them for the last 27 mins trying to get my phone unlocked after a previous round of phone calls/emails. So far they're not outdoing themselves on customer service.

Three have not allowed contract downgrades mid-term for ages now. At least 18 months?!?!?I spent 25 years in the mobile industry, from 1994 to 2019. Worked for indies as well as the big networks, in their stores also in contact centres. I also hold a degree in telecoms engineering so I like to think I know what I’m talking about 😂0

This is news to me too. Is it not a breach of the original Ts &Cs I originally signed-up to back in August last year and if so, is that grounds for exiting the contract early?0
