I know you dont get E4 on freesat (not sure about film4) as there's an issue with channel 4/sky.A Fendi Baguette is not a sandwich.....

We got no subscription but we don't get a whole load of Freeview channels - we don't get E4, some of the music channels are missing and a couple of others too. I don't see why Sky should make the freeview channels payable, no fairmissile wrote:You ought to get ALL free to air channels, phone Sky

The problem is Channel Four (E4) has a carriage deal with Sky which doesn't run out for a few years. It will cost Channel 4 too much to break the deal. This is also why Channel Four is Free-to-View (needs a Sky card) , not Free to Air (as are BBC channels and ITV.)"...IT'S FRUITY!"0 -

e4 and e4 films are available free on freeview.
i bought a digi ariel when i got my box as the normal ariel pictures were cr%p.
my father in law has a normal ariel and doesnt get e4,e4 films and some of music channels either.fatblokexl:EasterBun:0 -
The service available on Freeview (DTT) is different to that offered on Freesat from Sky. Good info available here:
