Sky TV All Channels free

I know you dont get E4 on freesat (not sure about film4) as there's an issue with channel 4/sky.

The problem is Channel Four (E4) has a carriage deal with Sky which doesn't run out for a few years. It will cost Channel 4 too much to break the deal. This is also why Channel Four is Free-to-View (needs a Sky card) , not Free to Air (as are BBC channels and ITV.)

Ah, that would make sense, Sky giving away everything for free to non-customers while slowly upping the price to their paying customers. I think Id drop Sky now if I lived in a freeview area.

e4 and e4 films are available free on freeview.
i bought a digi ariel when i got my box as the normal ariel pictures were cr%p.
my father in law has a normal ariel and doesnt get e4,e4 films and some of music channels either.
