TalkTalk speed problem Today

IS anyone else experiencing very slow internet connection with Talk Talk today? Mine has been unstable all day, keeps disconnecting....

  • My Talktalk internet speed has dropped to 0.2Mbps for the last two weeks.

    I have done all the checks they request which show that the problem is up at their end and guess what? No help at all from them.

    So after five years with them I'm off to SKY. Managed to get the same package (phone line/calls etc) at same cost.

    When I cancelled with Talktalk they just said "OK bye bye". Didn't even ask why I was leaving.

    What a bunch of turkeys.

    My advice is move to another provider if you can.
  • Thanks for your reply. I never usually have major problems with them but this is really doing my head in. And when I called today their answer was to wait a few hours and the problem will automatically sort itself out??!!?!? They are really useless and their customer service has to be the worse in the world !!! I was told on the phone today that I'm not the only one complaining about speed today but he still asked me to do some tests with my equipment to which I refused!!!

  • What package did you go for from sky? I'm fed up with my provider and dont want to go back to TT but I thought all the sky packages were much more expensive?

  • anybody reading this and thinking about using/joining talk talk please read the numerous compliants about installation and on going service on this forum. my advice - avoid.
