My Samsung SGH-D600 - Update
is about to give up the ghost so I need to get myself a replacement. I only need a phone for light calls and text use. The calendar and alarm functions are important to me. The camera, although not essential, is useful. The internet is a luxury I rarely use. I am currently on O2 simplicity at £15.32 per month and I would like to keep my cost at that level. The mobile phone world has moved on a lot since I got my D600 and I'm not really sure where to start. Any of you experts out there got any suggestions

You will get a better response if you visit the shops and see what you are offered. Then post what deals you can get. Also how many miniutes and texts do you want per month?0

Thanks for that. However I was looking more for advice on a suitable handset rather than the contract or payg plan. Once I've got an idea of a handset I can do some cost research.0 -
If you are looking to buy a phone whats your budget, or do you want a £15 pm contract?0

If you want the same phone, maybe check ebay, preloved or similar sites to pick up a second hand one.
I'm in the same boat as I loved my samsung d900i.
I'm looking at this one - http://direct.tesco.com/q/R.210-0413.aspx - but not 100% sure0 -

I've seen an iphone 3GS 8GB on T-Mobile which gives me what I need at my price level. Anyone got any experience/thoughts on the phone and/or the deal?0 -
Try posting the deal you have been offered in a new thread, include what you are getting and how much you are paying. Ive never had an iphone so cant really comment, dont know how long apple will keep updateing the 3GS.0
