Have you tried the Blue Cross. I've just looked at their site and they have a clinic in Grimsby, which Google Maps say is about 32 miles from Kingston Upon Hull.
They've got to be worth a try

Is my pet eligible for treatment?

You’ll be requested to bring proof of your benefit along with photo ID or a utility bill. People on a low income may also qualify at our discretion and you will need to bring a wage slip or bank statement. The grimsby hospital catchment area is defined by approximate travel times. Please give them a try0 -
I hope you have got something sorted out today. If not, you could also try your local Cats Protection, as they may be able to help wtih costs without you needing to hand your cat over for rehoming - I know they will help in some areas, depending on local branch finances!0

Have you tried Kingston Vets?
Best getting a phonebook and ringing all vets in the area I think?0 -
I have now taken my cat to see 2 vets who have both said that her condition is very unlikely to be treatable and have advised putting her to sleep, a third vet told me that they would treat her but suggested that the cost may not be worth it in the end and so I have decided I will have her put to sleep. Thank you for all of the advice though, I didn't want to give up without trying a few options first. Thank you again.0

I can't add anything to what has already been said, but I couldn't just read and run.
Sending you and your cat a (((((hug))))))

This made me smile (sorry OP).... There is a huge great river between Hull and Grimsby - diverting back round over the Humber Bridge (the only way to cross) would make it about twice that distanceI'm a retired employment solicitor. Hopefully some of my comments might be useful, but they are only my opinion and not intended as legal advice.0 -
So sorry OP x0
