Can I just point out to you Vanpopple, that the thread that has caused all of this was only posted 2 days ago...

You complained that not many fm's have helped, well, i don't think that many of the ones who may have been able to have helped have even seen the comp yet.

No-one that posted on the thread, had linked to any of the reg Sticky threads, so that people would realise there was a multiple draw comp going on.

No one had posted a link here in comps discussion asking for extra help...

I come to MSE via my own bookmark, which I set so that my threads are displayed in end date order. I never see bumped threads - ever... And many other fm's, may use their own bookmarks, or display threads how they like as soon as they arrive on MSE.

MSE compers that post tend to be happy to try and share answers and work together, in the knowledge that 90%+ of the members here are more like lurkers. I am sure that some of them would love to join in but it hard on comps forum as threads are normally for comping and not for bumping or chatting, iyswim.

hth, why you may have thought that people were not helping on the thread. I have posted a link to dailies for it now as well.

It might not make a huge difference but it helps and it's better than nothing and I do enjoy it, I would probably just be reading a book, watching TV, or messing around on the computer anyway when I need my rest periods. I would say just do as much as you enjoy then the wins are really appreciated. Sometimes I get nothing for what seems like ages but I won 3 prizes in one day once, so you never know what the next day might bring.

Now I have had a chance to find my way around a bit can I just say a huge thank you to everyone who puts so much work into making this site what it is. And for being patient with me when I try and help out but am still finding my feet. :A

Hi,I appreciate that this is an open forum but maybe it's time just to draw a line under this situation & move on.It's not a nice vibe at all.
Somehow this comes to mind,rightly or wrongly.Just my view of course :-)
Just to be clear the established member seems to contribute & not "troll" ,as it were :-)

My husband took a call from The Times today about 1330hrs. They didn't say why they called but that they would try another time. Does this sound like a competition win or is it marketing??!!

Anyone else had a call from them today??

ooooooooooooooooh, i dont know! did you always do the dont contact me thing on each entry? i know in the past folks ave had sales calls from em, and i know the ipad winners got wem. not heard about any sky winners yet...is the number witheld? call em back! hope its a win!:)
