Omg thank you, I thought I was going mad! I was studying at the end of last year so last did any extended comping in summer 2011 (did always keep looking at IWIWIW though!) and I could swear for things like DVD comps the posts maybe had about 150 thanks or so. Passed exams so can enter more now and even a niche DVD comp seems to be getting about 400 thanks?! I thought I was going mad, but did wonder if people were maybe entering more as New Years resolutions etc.

Mind you now I think of it I have changed the way I enter recently so I'm entering comps in the last few days... that will have had an affect of the number of thanks I'm seeing!! D'oh!

Has anyone won a Pancake Play kit with Golden Syrup? Because they said there were 75000 (which we know from the freebie threads is a *lot*), but there's hardly anyone mentioning them in the win threads, and I have been assiduously entering my batch codes to no effect. I think I might ask for a winners' list for this one.

Hi everyone, I have a question and I hope I'm posting in the right place. I notice a lot of holiday/hotel break comps are for 2 people. In my family there's my husband, me, and my 9-year-old daughter, and unfortunately we're not in a position to be able to leave her with anyone while the two of us went off for a break. Does anyone know if hotels in these comps tend to be willing to accommodate an extra little person for a price? I never know whether to enter the comps or not. Some of them would be lovely holidays for the 3 of us.

I have won trips to NY & Vancouver in the past.On both I have negotiated & taken a child.On the NY trip we gave up $1000 in Saks vouchers & on the vancouver trip we just paid the airfare.
I'd say just enter & negotiate,you'll be surprised how helpful they are :-)

Relating to the question above...
Has anyone won a family break/holiday were it accommodates a whole family, or a child and 2 adults, and been able to go without children. because i don't have any and i'd just want to take a friend

The Advertising Standards Authority have published their decision today on whether the Co-op's Design a Sandwich competition from last year was administered unfairly - and have decided that it was.

Their adjudication is here.

I remember someone on this thread talking about this when the comp was running, so thought I'd post the outcome in case anyone is interested.

Hi, I have been entering competitions for long time now and I have only ever won once.

I see on peoples signatures all the prizes they have won, I was just wondering how much competitions you all enter on average per week?
