We've used an eMac with ntl broadband for a couple of years - the cable modem is compatible, they give you Mac appropriate set-up discs so that works ok. Some of the free software (anti-virus)etc they make available isn't for Macs and the Broadband plus service wasn't (not sure if this is still the case) either. So we've not had any Mac-specific problems, just occasional ntl-connection-disappeaing ones..
Setting up internet connections on Macs, especially a wireles network is another matter entirely and a big headache but I guess you've sussed that one! :rolleyes:The cells are my friends...<img>0 -
Thanks for that, they are chucking in a new wireless modem, so hopefully a simple wireless connection to my I mac should be easy.0

yes, I have it running wirless though a linksys adsl router at the moment and that was easy.
It worries me about some of the stories with NTL, but I have no choice really as I cant have satellite.0
