Nokia C3 - 01 problem with touch screen not working

The touch screen on my C3-01 is not working therefore I cannot get into the menu, all I can do is make and receive calls. I got the phone earlier this year when I took out a two year contract with then.

Any advice will be appreciated about repair or warranty.

I have this phone and it happened to me once, although I have read it can be a problem with this model. Try switching it off and back on, that worked for me, also make sure you have the most up to date software on it.

Nokia have a 2 year warranty, so you can go back through network provider, when my daughter had a problem with her Nokia 5800, I took it back to the local Vodafone shop, who after 3 returns supplied a new phone. Nokia also have repair centres in CPW stores.

Thanks for that. It did not work this time. I have now spoken to orange and they are ringing me back on Monday when Nokia are open to arrange for a repair or replacement.

I know it is a bit of a long shot, is it possible to switch on the blue tooth with a code?

I am also having similar issue with my Nokia c3 but this does not seems to be any problem related to hardware since all other on screen buttons available on the home screen are working. E.g
My unlock button works though it has the same coordinates as that of menu button , but menu does not open even though it changes it's shape to pressed when I touch it. But it never opens .....
Just wondering if any1 found the solution to fix this...
I guess it has do something with formatting the device or ...??

We had 11 of these handsets to give to our less technical users at work and so far 4 have been back to T-Mobile with the same problem. We found that leaving them turned off for a few hours sometimes gives you a few minutes of touchscreen use. One of the users said it happened when he was typing a text message and the phone rang.

Then what is the solution to the problem, how can I bring my c3 touch-screen back to responsive ?

Hi I have a Nokia c3 touch and the screen will only light up white for 3 secs and then it will go blank. And the only noise it will make is a beep or the startup tone.

Any ideas?
