I get mine done once every month or two. Invariably because I need to take someone else in the car for work reasons. If it wasn't for that, it'd be once a year.:D

It's strange you should say that. I once got in a car with someone I was working with a good few years back (from another company) and commented on how clean and tidy it was. She said that she used to keep the car quite messy, but realise that if she was taking people from work places (either colleagues or clients) then if their first or main view of you is a really messy car then they'll probably assume that you're quite messy and disorganised generally. This really stuck with me, so when I did use my car a lot for work I used to keep it spic and span. Very rare that anyone gets in my car who I work with nowadays, so standards have slipped somewhat...

So what's everyone's plans for this weekend? Quite a quiet day for me and will catch up with some house stuff, but meeting some friends tonight for a few festive jars of ale. I love winter drinks with friends in a nice pub. How about everyone else? Thought this might be more interesting than another HPC-related thread.

    Rugby at 3. Gonna leave now-ish :j:beer:

    Friends coming round tonight.:j:beer:

Sunday lunch club tomorrow, (a sort of Come Dine with Me we do every month or so during the winter..... 6 of us in it.... staying over at theirs so we can both drink.... seeing as I've finished for the year now :j:beer:)

we've done chores this morning, popped to farm suppliers, argued over whether to give two local teens some work, and now eating pot stickers and asti (are you meant to not drink with anti biotics). later we'll paint some posts for the support for the pears we are pleaching before spending an evening in front of the wood burner snuggling and watching a film.

I would enjoy the f*ck out of a day like that. Apart from the arguing, obviously.

it wasn't quite an argument....more a discussion where we were wondering mainly what we'd hve the teens do in weather like this. Nothing acrimonious :)

the problem is, we enjoy days like that so much we've become quite antisocial, really just loving being together.:o

Get them to paint the pear posts and then you have more time for snuggling.

It usually doesn't really matter. It might mean the one or two doses you take whilst drinking get washed through your system and not work but it's no big deal.

The common exception is metronidazole. Don't drink with that. But you more commonly get that from the dentist.

i checked online a little earlier...just before we cracked open a bottle tonight...:D just as well, we're also having moules marinere and I don't think they cook long enough for the alcohol to be cooked off. :D

    thanks Jonny :)
