They seem some of the most bitter people around, harping on about a HPC, dating they should have invested in gold and silver while it was low, complaining and blaming everyone for there woes.

So what's everyone's plans for this weekend? Quite a quiet day for me and will catch up with some house stuff, but meeting some friends tonight for a few festive jars of ale. I love winter drinks with friends in a nice pub. How about everyone else? Thought this might be more interesting than another HPC-related thread.0

Good morning cleav.
Today I will be poping into work for a couple of hours, then take the wife to Tescos, and tonight down the local for a few beers and live music - I might take the mrs if she behaves.0 -
I'm going to wait until it warms up a bit and then I'm going to wash my car."The problem with quotes on the internet is that you never know whether they are genuine or not" -

It's raining here (Dorking) so I'm having to do my come back (from injury) run on the treadmill. Which on typical cold December days I much prefer but usually don't because my dog misses out, but the rain has justified it. So it's about an hours run for me this morning then recovery/shower etc.
Then to be honest we haven't got much planned for today, we'll take the dog out this afternoon in the woods (trees give reasonable cover from the rain), do a bit of shopping then watch a movie.Chuck Norris can kill two stones with one birdThe only time Chuck Norris was wrong was when he thought he had made a mistakeChuck Norris puts the "laughter" in "manslaughter".I've started running again, after several injuries had forced me to stop0 -

You're not a valet type Nearly?
There's a place near us that charges £8 for a mini-valet and about 4 blokes work on your car for a good twenty minutes. I'm considering asking them how much they actually get paid though as I'm worried it's slave-labour.

Not worth it for my battered old truck.
£6 an hour is not bad for unskilled manual labour."The problem with quotes on the internet is that you never know whether they are genuine or not" -

I'm going to scrape myself out of bed, go to the gym, do 5 minutes on the bike and two bench presses, then go for lunch with some friends and dinner with some other friends. Expected net weight gain = 5 pounds.0

I forget the name that the physio said it was, but it's the bottom of my left calf muscle, it happens when I run either too fast (for me) or try and do too much hill work. It's happened a few times in the last 2-3 years, I need to be more disciplined and not push myself too hard. Ironically it usually happens when training is going really well (hopefully I have learnt that lesson now).
I'm getting ready for the Dorking 10 mile road race (although I have no chance of winning, it's just a personal challenge to get under 90 mins for me). I've only just started running last week (2 x 3 miles) and going for a slightly slower 6 miles today.
I have to confess I don't wash my car (even in June).Chuck Norris can kill two stones with one birdThe only time Chuck Norris was wrong was when he thought he had made a mistakeChuck Norris puts the "laughter" in "manslaughter".I've started running again, after several injuries had forced me to stop0 -
