  • Thanks bella.

    $5/£3.10 recieved from superpoint.
  • MOrning, can't believe its the 1st of August, where has the year gone.

Forgot to mention that I spent £23.59 in Tesco yesterday, £12 of that was a birthday present and card for sisters OH, rest was top- up of fruit, crisps and bread.

Today is going to be an expensive day as I'm going to look at tall fridges, seen a couple on comets website, but want to look at them properly instore before ordering, will order online as they have a code for 10% off all fridges/freezers at the minute and can also go through quidco:money:.

Have decided its better to have a tall fridge as the intergrated fridge freezer I have at the minute isn't big enough, we seem to buy lots of fresh stuff and its like a jigsaw trying to get everything in, also I think your suppose to have gaps in a fridge so air can circulate, we also have a chest freezer that can go in the garage and can save up for another freezer later in the year if needs be.

Right better get myself moving and get some more washing on, looking over cast here, fingers crossed it doesn't rain.
  • Fridge bought £170.99 after 10% discount and have £4.27 tracking through quidco, OH put it on his CC I've given him £70 towards it, hopefully between us we can pay for it in the next 6 weeks without paying any interest.

£14 in Tesco vouchers recieved, going to look at doubling up some of them as can put towards frozen food.
  • Sounds like a good price on the fridge Penny. We're desperate for a chest freezer to try and be more economical with food but haven't had the spare cash to look.
When we went into an old estate cottage years ago we had a major mouse problem but it was beautiful and well worth the pest controller cost!!

Hi PWD, We have a cat, so hopefully if there are any little furry friends they will be dealt with! even the cat could be money saving by catching its own tea:rotfl:.

Today is more of the same painting and wallpapering, going to put a bolognaise in the slow cooker so we have something ready for tea tonight and only need to whack some spaghetti on when we get in.
  • Decided to spend the morning at home so I could catch up with washing and have a general tidy around, made a bolognaise sauce and a choc chip tray bake to keep us going for the day, kids have had a nice morning playing on the wii and watched a scooby doo film.

Postman has been and brought me some laundry washing liquid to test, 2 bottles of it and each one has 18 washes in it :j, so that should see me through the next few weeks:D.

    No other news.
  • Recieved £3 from mysurv£y and £4 from p!necone, leaving the money in paypal as i'm currently bidding on some curtains.
