    Hi Pennywise,

I think this weather has a lot to do with peoples low moods at the moment.
Just a thought have you got any 0% offers that you could pay the Next with a CC and pay it off that way.

Hope you get the washing dry, ive resorted to the TD for the bedding as with the covers being so big I didnt want it dragging on the grass and getting muddy! This has happened to me before so im learning from my mistake haha!!!! xx

  • Hi mummy, no offers at the minute which is a pain, determined to get NEXT paid off ASAP though.

Good idea putting the bedding in TD, especially if you would end up washing it twice.

Going to go and see if my washing is dry and hang out some more, there is a strange orange ball in the sky thats radiating heat, think its called the SUN, not normally seen in northern parts of England:rotfl:.

  • Good morning, its really cold up here in Lancashire, have lit the woodburner and dryng washing on an airer n front of it.

Made some yummy roasted butternut squash and tomato soup ths mornng so thats lunch sorted, have just sent OH to Tesco to buy some nice bread to go with it, havn't had time to make it as i've been busy catching up with all the ironing.

Made £3.96 yesterday on ebay, 2 items ending today both have 99p bids on, its better than nothing, have another pile of stuff to go on today, have taken the photos just need to get them listed, also must relist some items that didn't sell.

Pay day tomoorow and have just checked bank account, i have £9 left in there so i'm going to send that to NEXT, want to pay at least £100 off it next month.

  • Well its payday yoday and there was an extra £11 in my paypacket, so i've made a payment to next today of £63:D.

So here i was thnking the days started off well had a good day at work, came home to find a letter from child tax credits, i'd been overpaid in previous years and stopped getting it due to the overpayment and i then just recieved letters from them telling me it was being taken from the next years allowance (iyswim), anyway letter today tells me i have to pay back £800 by the 2nd June:eek:, so i ring them up and what a carry on that was, honestly they couldn't oraganise a p!ss up in a brewery, any way i pleaded poverty and said i could only manage £50 a month, so a DD has been set up to pay them:mad:, it honestly has to be one of the most ballsed up systems ever.

So looks like i wont be over paying quite as much to next as i thought.

On a brighter note i made £6.94 on ebay yesterday, listed 15 items and have found another item to list this evening, just a 99p one but every little helps.

Been to Tesco and done a massive shop using £10 off £80 spend and after voucher it came to £70.70p I was adding it up all around the store, got loads and will only need some fruit/veg at the weekend:D.

Hope everyone has had a good day, especially with the brighter weather.

Oh no Pennywise, what an absolute nightmare for you with the tax credits. Morons who the hell has just got £800 sitting around to be paid in 4 weeks?! Im glad youve sorted it out with them though.

Yay to the Ebay, hope the weather keeps up xx

  • Morning, just a quick update.

Thanks mummy, i've come to the conclusion that chimps could do a better job than the lot currently running it.

Decided in the early hours when i couldn't sleep that i still need to pay as much as possible off next this month as my first payment to chc doesn't go out until next month.

So this morning some paypal money has hit my account so i've paid £15.90 to next:), quidco have paid me a huge £1.89 not hit bank account yet but this will also go to next.

1 item ending to day on ebay has 1 99p bid on it, which is better than nothing.

Clouding in here looks as though we are in for a wet day:(.
