  • Thanks bella, ebay bids are still the same:(.

Decided to use £20 clubcard vouchers to stock up on some groceries, so at work at lunchtime i sat in the computer room logged onto Tesco with all my money off coupons and the tesco price news magazine and wrote a shopping list making the most of all my vouchers, worked well as my shopping came to £37.50 before vouchers, after money off vouchers had been knocked off £22.90 and then used £20 in clubcard vouchers so only paid £2.90 cold hard cash:j, so now have lots of cat food, cheese, washing powder and frozen pizza and burgers.

Very statement has arrived i owe £37.17 which isn't too bad and its spread over 3 months interest free, so will pay £12.87 on Monday when i'm paid.

Nothing much else to update really, work is going ok just a little manic, children are fine and dandy and OH is working hard.
  • You can do it Penny, you've had a fab holiday so keep remembering that and remind the children as required:D

Even if you put the store cards in your sig it shows you are achieving that goal?

As always the food sounds good, think we are all going to get washed away up here with the amount of rain, thank goodness we're on a hill:eek:

  • Hi PWD, thankyou for your kind words, going to put NEXT in my sig when the statement arrives as this is the first one to battle it has the highest APR, so will be blitzed first, then onto the C Cards both mine and OH, 4 c cards to tackle altogether:eek:.

    Hi Penny
Don't worry too much just knuckle down and chip away at it. You can do it. You are very resourceful : the food you make your family is top class. You are a very talented good mother and wife. It's only a natural reaction to worry 'what if' when we are under a stressful situation. Maybe sharing it a bit at a time would help you deal with the journey ahead. Just remember we are all here to support you. :)

  • HI mummy it was a flyer style magazine, i think it has tesco deals on the front, inside it had £12 of various money off coupons.

ebayqueen, thankyou, i am a natural worrier, just got to keep going and we will get there eventually.
  • Well so far today i've managed a nsd, whoop whoop:j, will need to have a little spend tomorrow as we are low on fruit, seem to eat loads of it which is no bad thing.

Have done a couple of surveys since getting in from work and been clicking away on superpoints, nearly at 500 points so will be able to redeem about £3 to Paypal, its easy money and it all adds up, if anyone wants refering to superpoints send me a PM and i will sign you up.

Easy tea tonight of pizza for the kids, as they are both out at various clubs and pie and mash for OH.

Can't believe how cold it is at the minute and to think it is almost May, not doing anything for the fuel bills:mad:.
Have some ebay items ending this evening, only a few bids so a few items look like they will be relisted, might make a tenner if i'm lucky:(.

Well done on the NSD, hope your ebay items turn into sales later :)

  • Thanks jwil.

Really pleased as all my items sold that ended yesterday on ebay, made £22 in the end which is much more than i expected, of course this will be going to Next. Have a couple more items ending this evening but none have bids on, if they don't sell i will just relist them this weekend, also free listing this weekend so have a few more items to list.

Can't believe its Friday already where has the week gone? work is hectic but thats good as it keeps me busy and away from certain people.

Better go make my lunch and have a shower.

    Have a good day.
  • Good morning.

Feeling down again today and really need to knock it out of my system as it ends up in a vicious cycle of me losing my motivation to do things which then makes me feel worse.

House has really got on top of me this week and looks as though a bomb has gone off, been pottering around this morning and have managed to get a few bits done, washing machine is on for the 3rd time, hung washing outsidfe to dry as we have no rain at the minute which is a nice change, ebay parcels have been wrapped and i've sorted out a drawer that wouldn't shut in the dining room as it was full of so much carp.

Made £3.96 on ebay sales yesterday and also recieved £4 from pinec*ne, have a couple more items ending today but none have bids.

Checked N£XT account this morning and new statement was available, currently stands at £568.49, min payment is £53.51 will pay this on Monday when i get paid and then any extra money during the month will be thrown at it, the Apr is monstrous and needs to be got rid off, at least the CC are on low or 0%.

Nothing else to update at the minute, will pop back later.
