    Hi PWPS

eager Elephant- this is precisely the conversation OH and I have been having re books. We were going to send to the CS but now have decided to give to my mums local fete. She will collect on Sunday too which is fab. gets them out of my house!

I have posted some books off to Zapper - a lot they won't take but for the ones they do it all adds up I suppose.

Then I went to speak to the lady who runs our village shop as I saw her reading a book when I went in the other day - she loves chick lit so I will make her up a fruit box full. And she mentioned that she uses the mobile library van (we are quite rural) and had donated some of her books to them as they don't have many so I am going to take up 2 more fruit boxes for them and the shopkeeper will ask how many more boxes she wants so hopefully that will get rid of quite a few :T

I also love the idea of printing out the fly lady list..I am definitely going to try that..

I print out the previous weeks list and then make my way through it as I tend to do more housework at weekends as they are my days off from work.
Or if you have time in the week you can work to the current list but then you can't go from one room to another as you don't have all the lists
  • Morning.

Quick update as i should have had a shower and made pack lunches by now and i'm still sat in my PJ's.

Amazon voucher arrived so will have a look for some sandals for DS, quidco have paid out a massive £1.40, every penny counts though.

Need to send £7 into school for children as they are going to watch a play with school.

I have parents evening tonight, have a good appointment 3.30pm so at least it will be done and dusted quickly.

    Have a good day.

Thats brilliant Penny, only 2 weeks. Very exiting. You will have a super time. How lovely of your aunt to post a present for the kids. People can be so thoughtful.
£10 is a nice amount to hit mr t with. Did you get any sainsbugs £6 vouchers in the post? I normally get A delivery but I think I will be hitting sainsbugs next week as the minimum spend is £30 :)

    How is work going?

Didn't realise you were going to America..sounds fun.

I have had some vouchers through..think it's cos I haven't shopped with them for months and months. £10 off a £50 spend so amazing value. BUT....as have already done my grocery shopping will be very good and leave until next month. Same with Co@p ..had a £10 off voucher from them as well which I can't use. Damn!

    Happy Mothers Day Pennywise xxx

I can't believe you're going to Florida in a few weeks its flown round.
  • Hi Brizzled, we are going with my in laws, who have paid for some of the holiday and we are also staying in a villa that is owned by friends of my in laws, so not as expensive as it could of been.

had a lovely mothers day and recieved a lovely homemade card from the children and a bodyshop gift set, alsohad breakfast in bed and then DH cooked a meal in the evening and his mum and dad came around for tea as well.

Today is not so good as DS is off school with a sickness bug, which means i am also off work.

Have recieved £4 payment from P!necone and made 99p on ebay, so need to update sig.

Weather is lovely here today which is lucky as i have loads of washing with DS being ill atleast i can get it on the line.
