Thanks choo, still feeling pants as i now have a full blown cold:(.
Went to l!dl yesterday and took OH with me as i wasn't feeling 100% and i ended up spending £68.02:eek: in l!dl can you believe that, we now have loads of food in the house and lots of ohh never tried that before shall we bits that OH decided to chuck in the trolly, men:mad:.
Made £8.13 on ebay yesterday and a couple of things ending in the next few days, also need to list some more items.
Think thats it for me.0 -
Hi Penny sorry to hear you are down with the cold. A lot of people are not feeling 100%. Hopefully you will get a rest today and feel fit for work tomorrow.
I would rather go shopping on my own as I know what we need whilst others see things they want:):) Good fun !!
Ebay steady for me too but its the constant keeping up with it that wears me down.

Hi PWPS
I think I have failed at the challenge :rotfl:
I just don't seem to have the time to earn extra money in the evenings especially as I have so much recorded on Sky+ that needs watching.
Don't think I have been on for over a month but since then I have won a £10 Love2Shop voucher.
No been able to keep up with my surveys but have had loads.
I have been looking at my books on Zapper but they don't want many of them  so I have a small amount of books to send them but more to get rid of.
I could just take them to the charity shop but when they cull them every 2 weeks they go for shredding and that seems such a waste so I am waiting and donating to table top sales and taking them into work for people to help themselves.
Maybe I should post on MSE and offer my books at 10p plus postage so at least I know they are going to a good home :rotfl:
I suppose I did make some money from them when I sold them on Amazon but then it all dried up so I still have so many books.
I'm sorry that your DH had been a twonk, my DH is similar - unfortunately he is ill and I think sometimes he uses that as an excuse.
The funniest thing was last month when he mentioned that the cat litter needed changing, I told him that he should do it as in 5 weeks I had cleaned it 7 times to his 1 :rotfl:. He was so shocked that I had been keeping track and that I should have told him. I asked what difference it would have made, he said he would have tried harder  which just goes to prove he only does it when he can be recognised for it!!!
I have printed off the Flylady list previously and the whole family love it, DS - 15 and DD - 9 like to do some of the easier tasks so they can cross items off the list. It's so funny watching them running about just so they can cross off and then reading the lists and giving DH jobs to do :rotfl:0 -
Hi E_E, good to see you posting, sometimes ebay, surveys etc can just feel like a slog at times so i can understand you not doing it.
Had a small spend today £3.85 in Tesco on ketchup, bread and bacon. also paid milkman £8 and withdrew cash to pay school lunches tomorrow.
Have 3 items finishing on ebay today all with bids and managed to list 2 items last night will try and list 2 more tonight.
Surveys are soooooo slow and not getting anywhere fast, to be honest they are doing my head in and i wonder are there really worth it.0 -
Hi Pennywise,
I know what you mean re the surveys, although since im so near payout on a couple im quite enjoying checking in every 2 mins!! Once theyve both paid out, I wont be interested anymore :rotfl:!!
Hope your feeling better xxMummytogirls x0 -
Thanks mummy, i'm still feeling ropey, but have just had a mad half hour cleaning DS pigsty of a bedroom:eek:, 2 bin bags of rubbish later and i can see the floor, wardrobe is tidy, books on shelves and toys in right boxes, i give it to Friday before its a state again.0

Good morning.
Just spent 35 tedious minutes doing a survey which has enabled me to gain enough points to order a £10 am*zon voucher, :jmaybe the dry spell is finally over:D. Hope it arrives in the next few days as i need to get DS some sandles for our hols.
Also made £11.99 on e bay yesterday and all have paid:), so need to package them up and get them to the post office.
DS has been threatened with his life if he messes his room up, not that he is listening/ or cares/ or believes me:mad:.
Feeling a bit brighter today, just feel really tired, i am wondering if i'm aneimic (sp sorry) as i do suffer from it from time to time.
Off to make packed lunches for us all.
Have a good day.0 -
Hi PWPS
Sorry you've been feeling rough. Hope you're on the mend and definitely get yourslef along to docs for a thyroid and blood test. We had a similar trip to AL,I a week ago when loads of extras went in...we were in a rush..never again. So on Saturday when we went last I took it steady and checked everything that went in the trolley..and the DDs stayed in the car so OH and I could concentrate! Think this is a better formula!
eager Elephant- this is precisely the conversation OH and I have been having re books. We were going to send to the CS but now have decided to give to my mums local fete. She will collect on Sunday too which is fab. gets them out of my house!
I also love the idea of printing out the fly lady list..I am definitely going to try that..
Hope everyone has a good day
