Thanks folks for the extra comments here. When I bought the camera the reviews seemed good and it is a pentax so I was confident.... I guess I'll see. It's definately not wear & tear as I've barely used it. I have an SLR which I use most of the time but I like to carry a compact in my handbag for 'just in case' and nights out etc... I think I'm gonna look for a phone with a hald decent built in camera for that from now on.
