Plusnet Broadband:Check your price

I`m a Plusnet customer paying £12.99 per month for 10Gb broadband. I live in a rural area so was originally told that my local exchange had not been upgraded , so I`ve had to pay this higher price
I decided to check prices to see if there has been any change and lo and behold I discover that my local exchange has been upgraded sometime in the last year or so ....but I`m still paying the Plusnet higher price.

The 10Gb price is now the lower price of £6.49 and the 60Gb price is £11.49.
I rang them up and explained the above and, without too much discussion , they have now offered me the lower prices.
(I`ve actually taken the £11.49 / 60Gb option as I often exceed 10Gb per month.)
I know there are a lot of cheaper broadband prices around but Plusnet is still the cheapest where I live...and even cheaper now!
Worth checking if you are a Plusnet customer?

Reg...
I used to work for PN and when ofcom changed Market 2 exchanges to Market 3 exchanges (lower prices) they did go through all the customers in those areas and alter their prices... I guess you slipped through the net, if another customer reports it then PN will need to check all customers to ensure they are getting the best deal...0 -
Yes it's worth checking indeed!
I got told about my account being out of date and a better deal being available but I don't think my aunt (also a PN customer) got any email.... however when their ADSL went dead recently, the PN support guy did suggest she move to the cheaper package that was available.... as well as get the adsl fault corrected (a BT exchange fault, no a PluseNet fault)

And a heads up for anyone who is still on Market 2. Plusnet will honour the Market 3 prices for those customers. You can change it online or by calling them.0
