  • There were loads of Warburtons large white sliced loaves reduced to 20p in Skipton Co-op yesterday - got a couple for the freezer. Not exactly the meat bargains I was hoping to find but every little helps!

Thanks Money maker for that moneysaving tip - how did you contact them to arrange that?

Hi, if you log on here you can change your settings for BACS payment rather than vouchers:

In my co op, the meat offers still kick in even when the meat and fish are reduced. Plus they have a policy of reducing fresh food right down, so together these make it a great place to get redcued meat- sometimes it is virtually free.

I bought 3 packs of stewing beef for my mum which were in the 3 for £10 deal or £4 each and were in the reduced for £1 each. It cost me minus £1 as it knocked off the £2 saving as well! Bought some choccy with the £1 as they wouldn't give me a £1 in cash.

yes they do have different prices for the same thing in different stores- there are 2 near me and there is about 40p difference in the price of 4 pints of milk!!!!

i find they are better (for me anyway) for meat reductions than anything else. Certainly got better reductions post christmas than in any of the big 4
