What Have You Spent Today Sun 4th Feb & New Weekly Challenge

NSD for me today. Came in under budget last week - spent £13 out of £15, but £10 of that was on a Chinese:eek: It was really nice and a lovely pay day treat. Will not be doing that again this week;)
Anyway, my challenge for this week in £10. This should be possible as I have done the shopping and have petrol so should have a run of NSD hopefully!
Good luck everyone!

I did badly
I said £30 but spend £67! So this week it is going to be £30 again, and I'm going to stick to it! I'm not going anywhere today as I have a lot of work to do, so NSD for me and hopefully the start of a good week!

Last weeks budget : £70
Last week's actual spend : £58
I also took back a shirt that I previously bought - another £75 off. I also undertook two spotchecks for my work, netting me £26 of Love2Shop vouchers.
This week's challenge is going to be a bit more unpredictable - its my sister's birthday on Thursday, and I am going out on Friday but currently have no plans for saturday and not sure if I want to make any. So I am going to set my budget as follow.s :
Transport : £30 (slight increase needed this week).
Lunch : £9 (a baguette on 3 days, cereal on the other two).
Social : £15 for friday, £35 if eating out is included.
Playing football : £5 needed to cover subs.
Sister's birthday : £35.
Total weekly budget = £94
So quite a high level, but on the plus side its the birthday that contributes a third of it. Also I am doing extra work after work on Thursday before going out with my sister which will net me £48 plus my travel expenses for the day (wont be paid for another month for that though). I also have the option of as many spotchecks as I like, so am aiming to do another 3. That would bring back £87 in 'bonus' income and turn my net spend to only £7 - which is quite amazing really.0 -

Just wondering - what should be included in the weekly spend? I include my transport, even though I have to spend it to get to work, but dont include my monthly phone, car and internet payments.0

Well I don't include normal monthly bills...it is generally money that is for non regular bills. I do include my transport costs though as well.Bank Balance: In the black for the moment.

Hi everyone, well I've spent all my budget for the week. My sister won £2,600 on the lotto last night. She's going to save it/invest. Lucky thing.
Feeling quite stressed today, dont know wots up. Anyway going to budget £30 again for this week. If I end up with anything extra I spend it on a treat for myself and my son. On an up note, I transferred £80 from my paypal account to my bank account. I'm going to need it this month. Was hoping to save this, but needs must. Have a good week everyone x0 -

WOW for your sister!!!! She must be completely made up. I think I would be feeling quite stressed too if someone close to me won a lot of money, I'd be thinking "Good for them...but I want to win too!"
