    It doesn't, grumbler is correct* - requesting a PAC starts your 30 day notice. You'll pay for the 30 days regardless of when you use it. You might as well therefore use the PAC towards the end of the 30 days so you're not paying for your new and old contract concurrently.

    *at least for Orange, but I believe it's industry-standard.
