O2 cutomer service !
I have had numerous problems with O2 , i have been with them for 5 years and when i contacted customer retentions they could'nt care less and would'nt offer me any deals and were happy to see me go. I contacted a different department and asked for my pac code (needed to take your phone number to another network) and they bent over backwards to keep me and were very helpful. The person i dealt with told me that customer retentions are located in a different town and are known to be unhelpful.Advice - to get a better deal go to the department that deals with pac codes they are the last line before losing your custom.

Yep, I had the same thing. The department dealing with the PAC codes offered me a sh*tload of free stuff and money back, but I told them to stick it out of principle. I've used O2 since way back in the BT Cellnet days, but shan't bother again. My friends and family are of the same opinion. No longer visiting these forums.0

I think at the end of the day o2 are focussing on those customers who they can get most money from. If you are a careful spender, who does not go over their contracted texts/minutes, and only spends £10/£15 a month then I doubt they will fight to keep you over someone who spends £50 and above.. ?:staradmin:staradmin:staradmin:staradmin:staradmin0

I agree! They have also just lost my 6 years of loyalty and I spend £30-£35 per month. No problems getting my PAC code out of them.0

Funny how in their new adverts they say that 'loyalty is rewarded' - don't think so somehow!:staradmin:staradmin:staradmin:staradmin:staradmin0

I have to disagree
I've only been with 02 maybe 3 years now (just renewed my contract) and every time Iv'e called them they have been really good and I only spend £15 per month with them.
I do think it depends alot on who you get on the phone when you call and if they are having a good day or not:heart2: Love isn't finding someone you can live with. It's finding someone you can't live without :heart2:0 -
I also have to disagree with the negative feedback others are giving O2!!
My experiences of O2 Customer Services have always been good, calls are answered within a few seconds, there customer services are UK based!! If i've ever had any complaint or issue it has been dealt with speedily by the customer service advisors.
Its been said time and time again on MSE that some customers will have good experiences and others not so good!0 -
I agree with matrix, my experience with 02 Cs has been faultless. It may be true that 02 have become less competitive in the last few months, but that is not the fault of the person who takes your call! They usually offer you the best that is available to them, unfortunately (for them) there are better direct deals offered elsewhere!
I've been with 02 PAYG and contract since they were Genie and it suited my family of 5 to all be on the same network. But 2 of us have now moved to other networks to get better tariffs."Cheap", "Fast", "Right" -- pick two.0
